Approximately 1 year ago, we installed SSL certificate to multiple website in IIS 7.5.

Now we have to renew it, however I forgot some steps since it involves command line.

For  importing certificate to IIS, there is link from GoDaddy

Once the certificate is imported then we need to assign https server binding. IIS Manager GUI can only assign 1 certificate to 1 website.

So we need to manually assign it via command line with AppCmd.exe.

AppCmd.exe can be found in C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv .

The command is something like this:

appcmd set site /"My Site" /+bindings.[protocol='https',bindingInformation='*']

You will need to change “My Site” with correct website name in IIS, and “” with your host name.
